BHSE Senior Graduation, Reception, and Memorial Scholarship
Graduation and Reception
Since 2005, BHSE has provided a formal graduation and reception for the seniors and their families and friends. Caps, gowns, and tassels, help to make this an official celebration to remember as our seniors complete their hard earned high school diplomas. This day of celebration and ceremony includes each senior’s personalized photo board exhibit, a graduation speaker, senior speeches, community service recognition, a slide show including a dozen pictures of each senior from infancy to the present, a rose for each set of senior parents, and a lively reception afterwards. An added keepsake is a video of the ceremony.
Memorial Scholarship
The BHSE Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship given each year to a graduating senior from BHSE in the name of family members of BHSE students who have gone to be with the Lord over the years. The scholarship amount is to be determined each year, but has traditionally been $1,000 awarded to the college or institution where that student will attend the fall after their high school graduation. Those who qualify to apply must have been a student at BHSE for at least two years during their high school years and not have been gone from attendance more than two years prior to graduation.
